 All materials & equipment will be provided by Tash. Her workshops require minimal equipment & a clean, simple, quick set up and take down. All the work is done for you so you can sit back, relax & enjoy your event. 

Tash will curate a unique, bespoke experience that fits your visions, budget & time scale. The details below provide an idea of what Tash can offer as a baseline experience. Her services are flexible & there is a lot of scope for adding to/changing the experience to fit you.

WORKSHOP

Hand-sculpt Your Own Ceramics

​

  • From £65+ per person

  • 2 hour workshop

  • Group: 6 guests min.

  • Location: Venue or your place

 

What you will do:

  •  Learn how to hand-sculpt 2-3 functional ceramic pieces - e.g your very own coffee cup, breakfast bowl + spoon*

​​

  • Tailor your experience - Choose whatever ceramic pieces you would like to make, perhaps even theme them to your event/ celebration

​​

  • Engage your senses in meditative, mindful hand-building practices 

​​

  • Tash will lead you through her unique & innate way of working with clay alongside nature - experiment with pressing in natural plants & botanicals into your pieces 

​​

  • Carve & sculpt your pieces using ceramic tools

​ 

  • Understand clay as a material as you explore the building & finishing of your pieces with entirely natural materials

​​

  • Learn how to professionally finish your pieces trimming & turning

​​

  • Anyone & everyone is welcome! No previous experience of working with clay is required.

  • Make extra ceramic pieces. e.g, learn how to sculpt a set of 6 pieces

  • Forage your own materials to work with. Take a (riverside) walk where Tash will explain plants & materials you can use

  • Finish your own hand-made pieces with slips. Design, build & finish your pieces from start to finish

  • Forage your own wild clay to work & create with (location dependant)

​​

  • Build your very own traditional ceramic pit fire to fire your pieces. Enjoy an atmospheric workshop as you create your very own colour reactions between the flames. (Location dependant)

  • Advanced Glazing workshop - learn how to hand-make your very own glazes using only natural materials such as wood & moss ash.

  • Coil-build your own large-scale sculptures. e.g, a traditional ceramic water jar

​​

  • Enjoy a meditative sound bath. Exploring the movement of water from vessel - river (location dependant)
